Chris de Putron TEP Dip (ITM)
Director

Chris de PutronChris is a Trust & Estate Practitioner with over 15 years experience exclusively in the trust industry. He was born and educated in Guernsey at Elizabeth College and after obtaining a degree in Business Economics at the University of Wales, Cardiff, Chris returned to Guernsey in 1996 to join a large independent trust company as an Assistant Manager. In 2000 Chris moved to Bermuda to work for a large Bank in their trust company as a Senior Trust Officer and in 2003 Chris returned to Guernsey with the Bank as an Assistant Manager. In 2005 Chris joined Jupiter as Trust Manager, and was appointed a Director in 2007. Chris is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is a keen sportsman and plays squash and hockey. He also enjoys spending time boating with his wife Mandy and their two young children.

Mark De La Rue FCCA
Director

Mark de la Rue

Mark has over 20 years experience in the Fiduciary Industry.  Mark was born and educated in Guernsey and following travelling for 2 years returned to the island where he took up his accounting studies.  Mark qualified with a large independent Trust Company and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA).  Mark was appointed as a Director of Jupiter in 2010. When not in the office, Mark enjoys family time with his wife Jo and their two boys. Mark is also a keen rugby supporter and enjoys photography, and the odd round or three of golf.

Hilary Stokes CA
Director

Hilary StokesHilary is a Chartered Accountant who has over 25 years experience in the finance industry and accounting profession. She was born and educated in Scotland.  Following a Masters degree in Accountancy at Aberdeen University, she completed her articles in Edinburgh and as a newly qualified Chartered Accountant, moved to Guernsey in 1985 as audit senior with a large accountancy firm. After 2 years she moved to a local fund management company as an officer responsible for Fund Accounting. In 1992 she was recruited as finance manager and compliance officer to help establish a fund management subsidiary of a large offshore bank.  She joined the associated audit and accountancy practice of Stafford Challis & Co. in 1996 as audit and accounts manager and retains her practicing certificate as a Responsible Individual under ICAS.  She is a founder Director of Jupiter and continues to work for clients of both Jupiter and the accountancy practice.  A keen sportswoman, she has represented Guernsey at hockey and now enjoys her spare time cycling, gardening and watching her two sons play various representative sports.

Ray Bushell FCA
Director

Ray BushellRay is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (qualified 1985 in Guernsey with Reads & Co now BDO Novus). He joined Spicer & Oppenheim in the UK as a Senior Manager in the UK working mainly in the audit field in London and the South across all fields.  In 1991, after 15 years in the profession, he joined Leopold Joseph in Guernsey as Finance Director.  In 1994, he joined Bank of Butterfield as Finance and Operations Director. Working at Board level for the group locally for 10 years he supported the Banks growth both internally and by acquisition from 30 to over 225 personnel into a much diversified business. During this time he had significant  involvement with their Funds businesses and was also closely involved in Systems, Personnel and Internal audit as well as  having responsibility for  all tax matters for the various entities  and oversight of  group acquisitions. He left the Bank in 2005 to join Stafford Challis & Co. and was appointed as a Director of Jupiter in 2005. Ray is heavily  involved with sport on the Island, particularly cricket and hockey, as well as undertaking some charity work and is married with two children.
