Update 1 June 2020

With the easing of lockdown restrictions by the Guernsey government, some staff are now working back in the office under strict Public Health guidelines, with the remainder of staff working remotely from home.

The offices will continue to remain closed to visitors at this time but should you have a requirement to meet with a director please make contact to see if we can make suitable arrangements while still observing social distancing.

As previously advised, the technology we use means that you can still make direct contact with all members of our staff on their usual telephone numbers and email addresses.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, including public health advice. We will provide any further update as necessary in due course but, in the meantime, we continue to remain open for business.

Update 23 March 2020

Given the recent escalation of the States of Guernsey’s response to COVID-19, from today we have instigated a policy where half of our staff will be working remotely from home on a rotating basis. The technology we use means that you can still make direct contact with their usual telephone numbers and email addresses.

Should events escalate further we have implemented policies and procedures to ensure that all staff can work remotely from home and continue to operate the business as normal, providing the same level of service to our clients.

We also hope you will understand that in line with local government social distancing guidelines, we believe it is in everyone’s best interests to suspend face-to-face meetings for the time being. We are still available for meetings by telephone and teleconferences.

We continue to monitor the situation closely, including public health advice. We will provide any further update as necessary in due course but, in the meantime, we continue to remain open for business.

Issued 18 March 2020

With the continuing global threat from the COVID-19 virus and ways it will affect our employees, our business and our clients, we are writing to advise you of the measures we have taken in terms of working practices and business travel in order to safeguard the interests of our staff and our clients as well as to ensure business continuity.

Our first duty of care is to our highly valued staff and their families, so we have implemented IT solutions to ensure that all personnel can work effectively and efficiently from home as required so that we are able to limit the chances of infection and continue to support our clients.

We have restricted business travel for the time being. While our offices remain open and we are committed to maintaining business operations, we will encourage the use of telephone and teleconferences wherever possible.

If a client meeting is absolutely essential we will make the appropriate arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of all involved. In line with this, when we do continue to welcome clients into our offices, we have taken the decision to implement a process of not shaking hands and encouraging the use of the hand sanitiser provided. We trust you will understand this.

We continue to monitor the situation closely, including public health advice. We will provide any further update as necessary in due course but, in the meantime, we will remain open for business as normal.
